El Semanario Endorsements and Support for Candidates and Ballot Issues

Posted October 15, 2026

For 37 years, The Weekly Issue/El Semanario has provided our community with news and resources grounded in truth, integrity and ethics. We have always promoted the value of democracy, civic engagement and participation in our elections.

Positive and equal change only happens in our communities when we vote for elected officials that truly and authentically align with our values and morals and genuinely support all our communities.

As a country, we are currently facing extremely serious and dangerous consequences due to our nation’s immoral and reckless leadership. As responsible voters, we can redirect the future of our country by participating in ALL elections. However, our responsibilities do not end after elections, the fight continues to hold elected officials accountable and to follow our constitution and laws every day.

It’s time for every eligible voter to step up and vote with integrity and demand accountability. We ask that all Colorado voters participate in the midterm elections on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

This week, we offer endorsements and support for federal and state candidates, as well as our position on state amendments and propositions.
