Mexican Consulate of Denver Committed to Education

On December 1st, Consul General, Berenice Rendón Talavera and Superintendent of Denver Public Schools Tom Boasberg renewed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Consulate General of México in Denver and Denver Public Schools (DPS).This MOU allows to continue the successful cooperation achieved thus far by both entities and will formalize the role of DPS as the operator of the new Educational Orientation Window program.

The Government of México granted a total of $35,000 to the Educational Orientation Window as part of the commitment towards the empowerment of the Mexican community in the United States.

The goal of the Educational Orientation Window is to further assist the Mexican and Hispanic communities in the United States to navigate the educational systems of both the US and México. It also serves as a resource of insight and information about additional educational programs locally available for the completion of elementary through higher education, including courses designed for migrant parents.

The Educational Orientation Window is open to the public at the Consulate General of México in Denver, Monday through Thursday, from 9am to 1pm.
