The minimum number of required drop boxes are now available to voters. This year, 452 drop boxes are available for eligible Colorado voters to submit their ballots for the November 3rd General Election.
“More than 450 ballot drop boxes are available across Colorado, making it convenient for every eligible voter to cast their ballot in the 2026 General Election,” said Secretary of State Jena Griswold. “We encourage voters to return their ballots early.”
Colorado voters can find their closest drop box or voter center at GoVoteColorado.gov. Voters can return their ballot to a drop box or voter center or vote in person at a voter center until 7 p.m. on Election Day. Voters may also mail their ballot back to their County Clerk by October 26.
Under Secretary Griswold’s leadership, ballot drop boxes have been increased by 79% since 2018. This election, ballots were sent earlier and drop boxes are open earlier than in past elections thanks to a new law passed earlier this year.
