Congressman Jason Crow has been appointed to serve in a key campaign leadership position as House Democrats work to take back the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2026 midterm elections.
Crow has been tapped to be Recruitment Co-Chair by the Chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), Chairwoman Suzan DelBene. In this role, Congressman Crow will travel the country to recruit candidates in key races and help them build winning campaigns, including building out their organizing and fundraising efforts.
“Jason Crow knows what it takes to win, having flipped a Republican seat to help us take back the House in 2018. He’s always been a fighter, first in the Army serving three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and now as a Member of Congress fighting for veterans and working class people. It’s exactly this kind of servant leadership that he’ll bring as the DCCC Recruitment co-chair as we work to retake the House,” said DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene.
“I’m rolling up my sleeves to help rebuild the Democratic Party and recruit the next generation of candidates who can win,” said Congressman Crow. “Voters are looking for fresh voices and leaders who put their country and community before politics. We have a lot of work to do to rebuild trust with voters, and I am going to work hard, show up everywhere, and help Democrats win back the support of working people.”
This latest appointment showcases Congressman Crow’s rising national profile and responsibilities to help him deliver for Colorado. The New York Times has called Congressman Crow the Democrat Party’s “go to lawmaker” on difficult assignments, including serving as an impeachment manager during President Trump’s first impeachment trial.
Last cycle, Congressman Crow helped recruit local, state, and national Democratic candidates with backgrounds in the military, foreign policy, and national security to run for office. Through his efforts, he helped to support 12 U.S. House candidates and 16 Colorado legislative candidates, with two-thirds of endorsed candidates winning their races.
In addition to Congressman Crow, Reps. Lauren Underwood and Morgan McGarvey will also serve as DCCC Recruitment Co-Chairs.
