John Walsh for Denver District Attorney Campaign Outraises Opponent 2-to-1 in 2024

John Walsh’s campaign for Denver District Attorney announced this week that he raised $172,262 in the first reporting period of the year, over twice the amount raised by his opponent, placing him substantially ahead in overall fundraising in the race. Walsh has raised a total of over $355,000 since entering the race in November 2023.

Walsh has crisscrossed Denver on his community neighborhood tour to meet with voters from Bear Valley to Montbello, Sloans Lake to Southmoor to discuss the community safety issues impacting Denver families most and how we can better improve our criminal justice system to create a safer and more just Denver together.

John’s commitment to working with and listening to the community as Denver’s next District Attorney is evident in this groundswell of fundraising support and demonstrates he is the people’s candidate.

Walsh recently earned the endorsements of Mayor Wellington Webb and Rep. Wilma Webb, Former Gov. His campaign has knocked on over 5,000 doors across Denver, along with thousands of calls. The campaign’s fundraising total comes from a broad group of over 1,400 donors.
