Denver International Airport Hosting Expo for Small Business Suppliers
Denver International Airport (DEN) will be hosting a unique opportunity for local snack and souvenir makers and suppliers to showcase their products at a Snack and Souvenir Expo on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2024.
8:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the Renaissance Denver Central Park Hotel, 3801 Quebec Street Denver, CO 80207. More information and event registration.
Interested snack and souvenir suppliers can meet with DEN’s Dine-Shop-Relax businesses to learn about the application process and the requirements to sell their products within the airport premises. The Snack and Souvenir Expo aims to provide a platform for suppliers to pitch their prepackaged food items and souvenirs directly to top concessionaires from across the country. This event underscores DEN’s commitment to fostering local entrepreneurship and diversity within its concessions program and represents a significant opportunity for suppliers to grow their businesses in a dynamic and high-traffic environment.
Vendors attending the event will also learn about:
- The procedures for doing business at DEN, including engagement in outreach events.
- DEN’s comprehensive training programs, such as the Business Development Training Academy and the Navigating the ACDBE Program Series.
- Opportunities within DEN’s kiosk program.
- Guidance on obtaining essential certifications, including Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Emerging Minority-Owned/Women Business Enterprise (MWBE), Small Business Enterprise (SBE), and Small Business Enterprise Concessionaire (SBEC) certifications
