These words have been recited in the past and continue to herald a beginning of change. The verbiage of U.S Declaration is still stained with the words “Merciless Savage Indians”. Capitalism requires individuality for the competition of attention.
Sometimes it seems like all you need is the right word at the correct time, and yet we have yet to see the public rise up. The fear of mind control is less considered in the thoughts of cellphone junkies. They say the cellphone was gonna connect us. To what? Now what? Nahuatl. How often do you think of yourself as independent? Then realize that you need something from the store.
The complexity of social interdependency that we share today is immeasurable. Markets predict them, predators lick them, actors depict them, reports conflict them. There are too much happenings every day, that all you can do is focus on the tasks at hand. Sadly, that hand is occupied with a digital device that might be how you are ingesting these revelations. Still, you see your friends and family I hope at some regular interval because we need connection.

We need to recognize the roots of our social and personal values. Humans are certainly predictable. But we are amazed at the unpredicted outcome. A magical turn of events or performance. Tremble of the earth and trample of the environment. Please let us diminish the damage we have done through industrial production. Our man-made tools and inventions may have some energetic life force, but there is no excuse for us allowing them to make our decisions.
Homo Sapiens are an improvement of past dominate life such as dinosaurs. Perhaps even the idea that God created us for a purpose is a valid statement. But let us not suffocate the collective ambition for improvement simply because the powers that be are corrupt and misguided by money. When we reach out to the strangers around us. Neighbors and business owners and fellow shoppers we can share that declaration of interdependency.
More than anything now, I believe is a space for re-creation. A chance to make the history that we teach our children become aligned with this interdependency. There is no need to change the past, you really can’t do that. But you can tell the story in a way that renews our hope for a better tomorrow, yesterday. The past has many stories that you have yet to consider.
